Letha Eller is the mastermind behind the Hennamals, a collection of whimsical and funky animals sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. Each Hennamal is created using a unique fusion of watercolor and ink designs inspired by ancient Mehndi (henna) tattoos.

A local artist residing in Waynesville, NC, Letha retired from the elementary classroom in 2019 and relocated from Savannah with her husband, Mark. They both find the mountains inspiring, peaceful, and essentially free of biting insects and long, hot, sultry summers!

Letha's love for art doesn't stop with the Hennamals. She also enjoys painting, drawing portraits and animals, creating pottery, and selling vintage items. Her passion for exploring the delightful towns of western North Carolina also keeps her busy when she's not herding her Hennamal menagerie.

Hennamals are truly "Made to Make You Smile." With their colorful and intricate designs, they are a unique and spirited addition to any art collection. It is Letha’s hope that they bring a little bit of joy to your day.
